Our brief was to take a selection of Luuma’s existing cocktails and reimagine them using Luckybird syrups, creating elevated serves that showcased the range’s flavour, versatility and creative potential. We then set out to capture these cocktails within Luuma’s distinctive hospitality environment, balancing polished product imagery with the warmth and energy of the space. The shoot was designed to build a versatile content library across film and photography, capturing signature cocktails, syrup and ingredient details, mixology moments, venue ambience and behind-the-scenes content.

For Luckybird × Luuma, we wanted every frame to feel felt, not watched. Drawing from the warmth and intimacy of the restaurant and bar environment, we embraced rich amber tones, tactile textures and cinematic light to create imagery that felt crafted rather than commercial. We focused on the details that make a great drink an experience — the movement of a pour, the texture of a syrup, the glint of glass, the hands of the mixologist and the natural energy of the space. Slow, intimate camera movement and macro detail brought the ingredients and cocktails into focus, while warm practical lighting kept the work grounded in the atmosphere of a real hospitality setting. The result is a visual story shaped by flavour, craft, place and human connection, with Luckybird positioned as the creative catalyst behind each serve.

We produced a hero brand film, a series of short-form video edits, and a curated selection of supporting stills for Luckybird × Luuma. The content captured the cocktails, ingredients and mixology process through intimate, cinematic visuals, complemented by behind-the-scenes portraits, venue ambience, macro details and signature cocktail hero shots. From styling and prop sourcing to creative direction, editing, colour grading and sound design, every element was crafted to create a cohesive, sensory visual story.

The final collection places Luckybird within the real theatre of hospitality — showing how its syrups can transform familiar cocktails into expressive, considered serves. Rather than treating the product as the hero in isolation, we made flavour the story: from the first ingredient to the final pour. The result is a warm, cinematic body of work that captures the personality of Luuma while giving Luckybird a distinctive visual language rooted in craft, creativity and contemporary cocktail culture. A little flavour. A lot of atmosphere.
